A space for all
Acres of open green space, beautiful modern landscaping and miles of public footpaths and cycleways all add to the attraction of Inverness Campus.
The Inverness Campus parkland is open 24/7 and has proven to be a favourite with pedestrians, dog walkers and cyclists.
If you're planning to visit us in the summer keep an eye out for our resident family of swans. Each year we welcome a new batch of cygnets to the Campus which usually prove popular with visitors - in previous years they have even attracted attention from the local press!
So, whether you're looking for a catch up with friends or a picturesque place to carry out your daily exercise, the Campus is open to everyone!
In 2020 UHI Inverness opened up one of its car parks to support the UK Government in its efforts to increase testing for the public.
Throughout the pandemic, key workers in Solasta House continued to operate as normal and were involved in COVID-19 related work to develop PPE and diagnostics.

In the height of the pandemic, members of the public living nearby used the Campus as a source of daily exercise and we would encourage everyone visiting the Campus now to continue to practice social distancing.
In order for us all to continue to enjoy the Campus we need to keep the site safe. All Campus roads have priority for active travellers over vehicles and there’s a 20mph speed limit across the site.
If you are travelling to the Campus by car please remember to leave your vehicle in the designated parking areas. The main visitor car park is situated next to the security and reception office.
Inverness Campus is a unique and beautiful spot in the heart of Inverness. Don't believe us? Take a look for yourself.
